General Rules & Regulations

All students must reach the school by 8:00 AM sharp. Latecomers will be marked absent.
Regular attendance of at least 75% is mandatory for appearing in final examinations as per JKBOSE norms [citation:7][citation:8].
Students must maintain a neat and disciplined appearance at all times while on campus.
Respect for teachers, staff, and fellow students is non-negotiable. Any form of disrespect will lead to strict action.
Students are required to carry their school diary daily for communication between parents and teachers.
Homework and assignments must be submitted on time. Late submissions will be penalized.
Participation in morning assembly is compulsory. No student shall miss assembly without valid reason.
Students must keep the campus clean and use designated dustbins. Littering is strictly prohibited.
Any damage to school property must be reported immediately. Responsible students will be fined and required to pay for repairs.
Parents are requested to meet teachers only during parent-teacher meetings or with prior appointment.
Students are not allowed to leave the school premises during school hours without written permission from the Principal.
All students, employees, and visitors are required to observe these rules within the campus and other mentioned places.

Prohibitions & Bans

Ragging: Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited inside and outside the campus under the order of the Supreme Court of India. Offenders will face immediate expulsion and legal action.
Substance Abuse: Use, possession, or sale of alcohol, tobacco, cigarettes, gutka, e-cigarettes, vaping devices, or any intoxicating substances is totally banned. The entire campus is a smoking‑free zone.
Mobile Phones & Gadgets: Use of mobile phones, smartwatches, Bluetooth devices, headphones, and tablets is strictly prohibited in classrooms, labs, library, administrative sections, examination halls, and during extracurricular activities.
Unauthorized Entry: Entry shall be ensured through the main gate only. No student shall enter or exit through any other gate or point.
ID Card Mandatory: Only students possessing a valid identity card issued by the school shall be allowed to enter the premises, classrooms, library, and laboratory.
Uniform Violation: No student shall be allowed to enter the school premises without prescribed uniform. Casual clothes or modified uniforms are strictly prohibited.
Vehicles: Motorcycles, scooters, and motor vehicles are strictly prohibited for students under 18 years of age. Bicycles must be parked in the designated cycle stand only.
Examination Malpractice: Use of unfair means, cheating, or helping others during examinations will result in cancellation of the paper and disciplinary action as per JKBOSE rules [citation:8].
Discrimination & Bullying: Any form of discrimination based on caste, creed, religion, economic background, or disability is strictly prohibited. Bullying, teasing, or harassment will lead to strict disciplinary action.
Defacing Property: Writing or drawing on walls, desks, furniture, or any school property is strictly prohibited. Offenders will be fined.
Unauthorized Gatherings: Organizing or participating in any unauthorized meetings, protests, or gatherings on school premises without prior permission from the Principal is forbidden.
Social Media Misconduct: Posting inappropriate content or making derogatory remarks about the school, staff, or fellow students on social media platforms is prohibited and will lead to disciplinary action.

Academic Rules

Students must carry all required textbooks, notebooks, and stationery as per the timetable. The school strictly follows the JKBOSE curriculum and textbooks [citation:7][citation:10].
Regular class tests and assignments will be conducted as per the academic calendar.
Parents must sign the progress report after each examination and return it to the class teacher.
Three consecutive days of absence without application will result in removal from the rolls.
A medical certificate must be submitted for absence due to illness exceeding three days.
Use of unfair means in any examination will lead to cancellation of the paper and disciplinary action as per JKBOSE rules [citation:8].
Students are expected to maintain silence and discipline in the library and during study hours.
Library books must be returned within the due date, or a fine will be charged.

Attendance & Leave Rules

Minimum 75% attendance is mandatory for appearing in final examinations as per JKBOSE regulations [citation:8].
Leave application must be submitted in writing by parents at least one day in advance.
Emergency leave must be intimated to the class teacher via phone call, followed by written application upon return.
Students are not permitted to leave school during school hours without written permission from the Principal.
Late arrival will be recorded, and repeated latecomers will be sent back home with a warning letter to parents.

Note: The school administration reserves the right to take appropriate disciplinary action against any student violating these rules. Parents/Guardians will be informed immediately in case of any violation. Repeated offenses may lead to suspension or expulsion from the school.
